Welcome to my Soap Opera life

Well, my summer has been nothing shy of absolutely insane. I'll spare you all the details, but it's been interesting for sure. and I'm pretty sure that if someone decided to script my life they could put it on daytime TV as a some stupid soap opera and it would be just like every other ridiculous soap opera out there. Except of course, that it would be my real life.

The big news is that I am PUBLISHED. That's right bitches. PUBLISHED! My art is on the cover of a real live book. My Immortal was chosen by Matti Snook to be the cover art for his new book The Hybrid Saga: The Coven. I am so excited to be a part of that, I can't even tell you. Also, what since school is over, I have finished finals (god, that was an ordeal), and luckily, I made it with a pretty good (3.7) GPA this semester.

I had the best June of my entire life. You made it all possible, and I will cherish every memory. You know who you are.

In other news, I have finished the song I was learning to play, Liz on Top of the World and can now play it fluently on the piano. I'm very proud of that, because it's such a pretty song. I have also started composing some more new music, which I wish I could share with you all, but I lack the recording equipment, and sadly I couldn't post my music on dA anyway. oh well.

I am also now the proud owner of 3 TERABYTES of hard drive space (because anybody really needs that much), and 8 gigs of ram. My computer has all her new upgrades and updates, and is running like a dream.

I have invented a blind Rubik's cube that you have to solve entirely by touch. Yeah, I'm that awesome. I should really patent that idea...

So all in all, it's been a good summer so far. And I'm even cured of my Lyme Disease.
